
Rachel Cole is a New York-based art advisor dedicated to collection management, curation and the placement of artworks in private collections and museums. She specifically focuses on placing emerging and mid-career artists who are currently underrepresented in the public art space (specifically women, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists), and works with a select number of collections in the United States and internationally. She also places mid-career and established artists via primary and secondary market acquisitions. Her previous museum donations include those to LACMA, Brooklyn Museum, Hammer Museum, SFMOMA, and more.
Rachel entered the art world in 2013 and has worked at institutions such as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Christie’s Auction House, and co-founded Vernissage Art Advisory in 2017. In 2019, she founded Rachel Cole Art Advisory. With regards to her education, Rachel graduated with honors from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) with a dual BA degree in Art History and Psychology, and she is currently pursuing her MA degree in Art History at Hunter College. Rachel is currently a patron of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Brooklyn Museum, and a Artadia Ambassadors Council member.
